In my tenure on West World, season three, I was the go-to guy for all things Delos. This season we got out in the “real” world of 2050 and the exteriors of Delos Corp HQ were shot at Calatrava’s Palace of Science and Art in Valencia, Spain. So, I had to mimic Calatrava’s very irregular volumes and fluid detail. Each set had no right angles and few straight lines. When I ran out of Delos, I did practical props, a great deal of the Crimea (long story, that), and how to double a medieval Spanish town for Italy circa 1943. I got blisters on my mouse hand.
