Parenthood was a family-themed, Linear TV series for NBC. I completed the permanent sets for the show and it was my first attempt at digitally drafting an entire show. Until then, I had to do a bit of convincing to get art directors to let me model the set in 3D let alone produce drawings from a model. That was a very new thing in television in those days and none too common in feature films either. Having been allowed to proceed, the experience convinced me that I would not take any further analog drafting jobs. Well, that was what people diplomatically call ‘aspirational’.
